The tool box has a lower box part and several upper box parts, which unfold outwardly w.r.t. the lower box part. It has a framework for supporting and/or moving it at a certain height. The framework comprises two legs (5) extending between the floor and the underside of the box (1) and linked to it by sliders (4) moving on rails (3). Guide links (7) extend between an end of the box and a mid-point of the legs and are pivotally mounted such that the framework can be folded-up.
