Portable hole driller suitable in particular for machining of valves, powered by an electrical motor, characterised by the fact that it has a body (1) with an external sleeve (2) affixed to it, and inside that sleeve a rotating driving sleeve (5) is mounted that is powered by an electrical motor (3) through a reducer (4), and inside of the rotating driving sleeve a slidable spindle (6) is inserted, in the hollow of which a screw cap (8) is mounted with a guide screw (9) ending on one side with a pin wheel (10) cooperating periodically with the pilot (12) mounted in the body of a clasp lock (11) connected to the body (1), and where the spindle (6) is ending with a socket for the attachment of a cutting tool.<IMAGE>
