The instrument injects and/or extracts a body liq. into or from a passage (1) a catheter cannula connecting union. It has a guide cylinder (3) connected to a housing (2) with a component (4) (4) connecting it to the passage. An elastomer cap (5) seals off the component. The connecting component a tube, protruding from the housing, with the elastomer cap sealing its free end (6). The cap is held in the cylinder, which forms a valve housing. When moved in w.r.t. the tube it is punctured by the free end of the latter.
