PURPOSE:To accurately paste a plane image without causing any geographic distortion by projecting an image, projected on a plane, on a spherical surface again and pasting it on the spherical surface. CONSTITUTION:The spherical image 101 is projected on the plane while varied in its angle and the projection angles of images 107 and 108 projected on the plane are found from the images 107 and 108. Those plane images 107 and 108 are projected on the spherical surface and pasted spherically, and those pasted images 105 and 106 are projected on a plane and displayed. Namely, the images 107 and 108 which are projected on the plane are projected again on the spherically and pasted together. Consequently, no geometric distortion is caused and the plane images can accurately be pasted. |
