PURPOSE:To precisely position and fix a mask when it is changed by inserting reference pins mounted on a mask holder or a mask retainer into reference holes mounted on the mask. CONSTITUTION:In a mask fixing mechanism of a laser beam machine, the mask holder 33 and the mask retainer 34 to hold the mask are mounted on both sides of the mask 30, plural reference holes 301 for positioning are mounted on the mask 30, plural reference pins 332 corresponding to plural reference holes 301 mounted on the mask 30 are mounted on one of the mask holder 33 and the mask retainer 34. plural reference holes 343 similar to plural reference holes 301 mounted on the mask 30 are mounted on the other. When the reference pins 332 are inserted into the reference holes 301 formed on the mask in fixing the mask 30, the mask 30 is positioned with a prescribed precision the machining state of a work W is confirmed by an industrial television and the adjusting time can be reduced. |
