PURPOSE:To obtain a reversible thermosensitive recording material which has high durability by using phenoxy resin or styrol resin as a resin material used for the thermosensitive layer of the reversible thermosensitive recording material. CONSTITUTION:A reversible thermosensitive recording material consists of a resin material and an organic low molecular weight material dispersed in the resin material as main constituents, and has a thermosensitive layer which demonstrates a reversible changing transparency depending on temperature. The resin material is phenoxy resin styrol resin. The phenoxy resin is a polymer thermoplastic resin obtained based on bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin and is highly heat-resistant. In addition, the styrol resin family is polystyrene, polybromostyrene, polytertialbutylstyrene, polychlorostyrene and polymethylstyrene. The reversible thermosensitive recording material obtained demonstrates its improved durability against a repeated cycle of image formation and erasure process using a heating device. In addition, said material is capable of high contrast imaging. |
