Cyclic process for the preparation of cyclohexene oxide as well as of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone.

Preparation of cyclohexene oxide as well as cyclohexanol and cyclohexanon, in which

  a) cyclohexane is oxidised with a gas containing molecular oxygen, with the formation of cyclohexyl hydroperoxide, cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone,
  b) the mixture of a) and c) are separated together by distillation,
  c) the cyclohexyl hydroperoxide fraction from b) is reacted with cyclohexene in the presence of transition metal compounds from groups 4 to 6, with the formation of cyclohexene oxide, and the product is separated into b).
