AGENTS FOR ANTI-POWDERIZING THE STAINLESS STEEL SLAG AND THE ANTI-POWDERIZING METHOD

The pulverization resisting agent for stainless steel slag comprises calcium oxide, boron oxide, and one or two of silicon, titanium and aluminum. The composition ratio of calcium oxide to boron oxide is 1.6-2.4 and the metallic additives are 60-80 wt.% to the amount of boron oxide. The agent for antipulverization has a melting point in the temperature range of 1,300-1,500 deg.C and the deoxidant type compound structure. For pulverizing resistance of slag, 0.5-5 wt.% of the mixture is added to stainless steel slag.
