PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing high quality capsules in a high yield by subjecting polysaccharides to an enzymatic or chemical hydrolysis, and to provide the uses of capsules for containing oils and fats, foods, feeds, drugs, cosmetics or the like or the capsules containing liquids for printing. CONSTITUTION: At least two polymer components constitute a shell of capsules, wherein one of the components is a hydrophilic colloid, and another component comprises a mixture of low mol.wt. polymers obtained by enzymatically or chemically decomposing polysaccharide derivatives. |
