PURPOSE:To allow the distinct checking of the position of an inside needle inserted into a testee body by forming the inside needle and outside needle of a synthetic resin material having high transmittance of ultrasonic waves, forming a circulating path arriving at the 1st front end from the 1st rear end of the inside needle in this needle and passing the liquid or gas of the circulating path. CONSTITUTION:The inside needle 1 and the outside needle 2 are formed of the synthetic resin material having the high transmittance of the ultrasonic waves and the circulating path 16 consisting of a return path 16B and a connecting path 16c is provided. The liquid 17 or gas 18 is supplied to a supply path 16A and is delivered from the supply path 16A through the connecting path 16c to the return path 16B. The liquid or gas can be returned from the return path 16B to a tank 41. The point where the liquid 17 or gas 18 flows is displayed by a color image and the position of the inside needle 1 is easily checked at the time of forming the tomographic image by using the technique of color Doppler which visualizes the flow of blood with colors by the ultrasonic diagnostic device.
