PURPOSE:To speedily facilitate a countermeasure to an error, to prevent the deterioration of the throughput of a system, and to improve a reliability by providing a retry function which outputs again a command to a disk control means at a pertinent inputting and outputting channel means, when the error is capable of being recovered. CONSTITUTION:An inputting and outputting channel means 7 accepting plural commands from a CPU 1, for example, the command of performing an access to a magnetic disk 11, outputs the command of performing the access to the magnetic disk 11 to a disk control means 9. When the disk control means 9 performs the access to the magnetic disk 11 in response to the command, and the error is generated, whether or not this error is capable of being recovered is discriminated. When the error is discriminated to be capable of being recovered from the discrimination the command of performing the access to the magnetic disk 11 is outputted again from the above mentioned inputting and outputting channel means 7 to the above mentioned disk control means 9. |
