PURPOSE: To provide a sensor for converting change in K<+> concentration in blood, a preparation method of the sensor and a continuous real time detector for the K<+> concentration in the blood by using the sensor. CONSTITUTION: The objective sensor comprises a molecule which has at least one bonding position to bond the molecule bond to a fluorescent group to selectively form a K<+> complex. Firstly, 14th C atom in a tetradecane chain is substituted with OH group and a rhodamine B as fluorescent group is reacted with the complex to form a molecule comprising 2,2-bis-[3,4-(15-crown-5)-2- nitrophenyl carbomethoxymethyl] tetradecane. The monomer-like solution of this molecule undergoes a polymerization reaction to fix the molecule having the fluorescent group to a hydrophilic polymer. The K<-> concentration detector comprises a radiation source 22, a sensor 10, an intensity change measuring means 32 for a radiation passing through the sensor and an optical wavelength division multiplexers 24, 26, 28 and 30 which guide an electromagnetic radiation from the electromagnetic radiation source to the sensor and then, to a measuring means from the sensor.
