WRITE DATA INSPECTING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To almost completely inspect the write data in a write mode period through a simple circuit system in a write data inspecting system for a fault resistant disk drive array, etc. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 10 is provided together with a controller 16 provided with a write data bus circuit network 18 and a read data bus circuit network 34, and a disk drive array for storage of the write data. Then a write data block where the hot cyclic redundancy check characters is supplied through the computer 10 is divided into sub-blocks in a write data path circuit network. Then the port cyclic redundancy check characters are added to the sub-bocks and inputted to the network 34. Thus an error detecting circuit system included in the network 34 inspects the write data in a write mode period.
