The invention relates to tooling for drilling mechanical elements, particularly metal sections, possessing means for quick release of a locking vice. This tooling comprises a first and a second drilling template 1, 2 having reference orifices for the drilling, the said templates being able to slide on a guide slideway 5 and being lockable by means of bolts 6. The templates 1, 2 are held between a first and a second element 7, 8 of a vice, the first element comprising the said means 17, 21 for quick release of a jaw 12. Once the first element 7 has been placed so that the first jaw 12 presses a section 11 against a second jaw 10, it is possible to finish off locking by means of screws 15. <IMAGE>
