Process for purifying an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution in order to remove anions therefrom, characterised in that the said solution is cooled beforehand to a temperature between 0 DEG C and the freezing point of the solution, after which the said solution is caused to pass through a mass of anionic resin particles which has a matrix made of styrene-divinylbenzene polymers, of average strength, in the basic form, and then the resin and aqueous solution which passes through it are cooled so that the temperature of the effluent solution arising from the said mass remains equal to the temperature of the solution introduced into the mass itself, the process being carried out continuously until the resin is exhausted.
