The roller-blinds (2) fitted into openings in both sidewalls (3) are wound up and down by devices (4) installed in boxes (6) on the roof (5) of the vehicle. Parallel to the wall (3) immediately under each winder (4) is a fluorescent strip lamp (7) which illuminates the load space and also, when the blind (2) is raised, the surroundings. A traditional blue lamp (8) is fitted at the rear of each box (6) on the roof (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - On e.g. fire-fighting vehicle, easy access is afforded by simple closure which does not take up space required by load.
