In a folding table for airplanes and vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, having a folding-out table plate (1) which is held swivellably and displaceably with its inner end in lateral frame sections (11, 12) and to which struts (4, 5) are swivellably connected at a distance from the inner end, which struts are swivellably attached at articulation points (8, 9) to the table frame (10) which has the lateral frame sections (11, 12), the inner end of the table plate (1) being higher when the table plate (1) is swivelled out in the position of use than when the table plate (1) is swivelled in, the articulation points (8, 9) for the struts (4, 5) are located on the table frame (10) above the highest position of the inner end of the table plate (1) with respect to the lateral frame sections (11, 12), and the swivel connections (6, 7) between table plate (1) and struts (4, 5) cannot be displaced with respect to the struts (4, 5). <IMAGE> |
