This invention relates to the use of a 2β,16β- diamino-3-α,17-dihydroxy androstane derivative of formula: <IMAGE> in which R1, R2, R3 and R4 are selected, separately, from hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, C7-12 aralkyl, C2-6 acyl and C3-7 cycloalkyl which is optionally substituted with C1-6 alkyl, or R1 and R2 and/or R3 and R4, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, form a 5-, 6- or 7-member ring which is optionally substituted with C1-6 alkyl and the wavy line represents an α or β bond, or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts for the production of a drug for the treatment of arrhythmic disorders.
