The present invention relates to a fish pan having many uses. According to the needs of the user, this fish pan (1) can be used as a conventional cooking dish, optionally covered with a glass lid (10) and having a fixed or detachable "Bakelite TM " handle (13). The user can fit over the pan (1) a grid iron (4) having an electrical element (5), and a base (8) in order to form a grill for cooking meat for example, or to form a hot grid iron able to take a container. The user can fit a rim (9) to this hot grid iron and place a glass lid (10) over the whole to form an oven. By inverting the resulting assembled apparatus, i.e. by placing the glass lid (10) on the base (8), fitting to this the rim (9) and over the whole of this placing the pan (1) with its grid iron (4) and electrical element (5), the user can use it to make raclette (a Swiss dish of melted cheese). The glass lid can also be used as a conventional cooking dish.
