Non-return valve ready to be inserted in the vertical, or tending towards vertical, origin of a pipeline for discharging waste water, characterised in that it forms a monobloc assembly comprising: . a cylindrical ring (8), the outside diameter of which corresponds to the inside diameter of the origin of the discharge pipeline, . at least two arms (9) projecting vertically from the ends of the underface of the ring (8) and supporting a guide annulus (10) in which the cylindrical stem (11) of a valve (12) slides, . a cylindrical valve (12) closed at its lower end by a closure (13) and at its upper end by a head (14) corresponding to the shape adopted for the underface of the ring (8). The invention finds a preferred application in non-return provision for ground traps of the bell type. <IMAGE>
