A device for magnetizing a fuel mixture in an internal combustion engine. The device employs at least one permanent magnet (2, 3 or 4) placed against the fuel mixture supply pipe (6), and arranged so that the north pole (5) contacts said pipe (6), said magnet(s) (2, 3, 4) being housed in a longitudinal housing (1) of which one side is shaped like a channel (7) with a slightly greater radius than said supply pipe (6), so that said housing (1) may be mounted thereon. Attachment members (9, 10, 13) for attaching said housing (1) to said supply pipe (6) are also provided. The device may be used particularly in heat engines.____________________
