The invention relates to a supporting structure and to its false ceiling which implement novel shapes for producing a false ceiling of rounded shape. It is made up of a mounting plate (1), of a leg (2), of an anchor (3), of spacer pieces (4) acting as a guide for the tape (5). Once the support structure has been fixed to the ceiling, the false ceiling made up of a metal strip folded over at the ends is fastened by virtue of spacer pieces.
