摘要 <p>The method involves impressing on the system an initial acceleration of suitable magnitude and subjecting the system to an acceleration stage of suitable duration. The direction of the acceleration is inclined to the vertical at a suitable angle so as to make the system follow a ballistic trajectory in the said gravitational field. The ballistic trajectory follows the acceleration stage and comprises an ascending phase and a descending phase whose respective durations define the total duration of the ballistic stage, i.e. the stage during which the system describes the said ballistic trajectory.
