Seal (1) intended to provide sealing between a moving shaft (2) and a casing (3) surrounding it, including two rings (4, 5) spaced apart radially and joined by an elastic bellows-type membrane (6), the internal ring (4) including a radial seal (8) fixed to the shaft (2), whereas the external ring (5) includes an axial seal (5I, 5E) sliding over a radial surface (7) connected to the casing (3), it being possible for the membrane (6) to deform axially whilst providing the seal (5I, 5E) of the external ring (5) with a practically constant bearing force. A sealing component (13) including such a seal (1) additionally affords immobilisation on the shaft (2) and includes a protective skirt (15). Application to the sealing of shafts. <IMAGE>
