The headlamp washer includes at least one nozzle holder (19, 19'), a cylinder (11) and a piston secured to a piston rod (17) mounted so that it can move in the cylinder (11). The nozzle holder (19, 19') is connected to the piston rod (17) so as to be moved between a position in which it is retracted into a part (4) of the structure of the vehicle and a deployed position of use. The cylinder (11) is fed with a fluid under pressure which may be washer fluid. At least one arm (18, 18') secured at one of its ends to the nozzle holder (19, 19') is connected in an articulated manner via a second end to the piston rod (17). The arm (18, 18') is mounted so it can slide in a swivel (23, 23') mounted so that it pivots in the structure of the vehicle. The piston rod (17) and the arm (18, 18') between them form a non-zero angle in their position corresponding to the retracted position of the nozzle holder (10). <IMAGE>
