The method and device are applicable for spinning of high quality uniform yarn. According to the method, staple fibres are fed and transported mechanically. Afterwards, the partially loose fibres are separated because of the centrifugal force. The free fibres are paralleled and participate in the initial formation of yarn during the interaction with the surrounding cylindrical surface, revolving in a direction, opposite to the twist, which is formed by a rotating friction peg. The device consists of a feeding mechanism (2) for staple fibres (1), directed toward a transporting mechanism (4), made of a cylinder (5), which is covered with needle fitting and mounted eccentrically inside another cylinder (6) with cross slots, and interacting with the needle fitting upon an extreme cylinder position (5). Next to the transporting mechanism (4), there is a mechanism for separation of loose fibres and initial yarn formation, which includes a static receiving funnel (7), whose rear end is mounted contactlessly in the inlet opening of the rotating cylindrical surface (8) with longitudinally profiled internal walls. The device has a friction-twisting mechanism, consisting of two pairs of fast-revolution cylinders (10) with mutually perpendicular axial planes and with an opportunity for revolution around the axle of the produced twisted yarn.<IMAGE>
