The subject of the invention is a device for re-sealing bottles having a neck comprising a rim. The device comprising a multi-lobed skirt (14) formed on the lower periphery of an internal cylindrical part (8) and kept engaged under the rim (2) by an external cylindrical part (6) moving along a ramp formed on the internal part, is characterised in that the external part (6) is split (26) so that it can be deformed, the assembly of the external (6) and internal (8) parts being achieved by coaxial force-fitting; the ramp is an external recessed thread (18) formed on the internal part cooperating with a protruding internal thread (20) formed on the external part, the said threads having no run-outs in order to render the locking together of the internal and external parts impossible. <IMAGE>
