Device for distributing the pressure of a ski such as a downhill ski, on its sliding surface. According to the invention, the ski is fitted with front and rear binding elements (3, 4) which retain the ends of a boot (2). The device comprises at least one supporting element (12) on which rests the boot's sole. The device is also characterized by a feeler (12) in contact with the boot's sole and capable of detecting the vertical stresses exerted by the boot on the ski. The device comprises forward and rear bending means (13, 25) for generating, in response to the vertical stresses exerted by the boot, a bending moment on the front and rear ski ends. It also includes coupling means (30, 31, 14) between the feeler (12) and the forward and rear bending means (13, 25) for transmitting, by bending, at least part of the vertical stresses exerted on the ski and detected by the feeler (12).
