The present invention relates to an electronic anti-theft system for an internal-combustion motor vehicle, provided with an infrared remote-controlled door-locking and -unlocking device comprising a portable infrared emitting box (1) and an infrared receiving box (2) connected by a link (7) to the microprocessor (8) of the ignition/injection computer (3) with which is associated an erasable programmable memory (9), which is characterised in that the unlocking of the doors by the infrared remote-control device triggers the emission of a coded pattern by a microprocessor (5) installed in the receiving box (2), and in that it reads the code emitted by the microprocessor (5) of the box (2), compares it with a code memorised in a compartment (10) of the memory (9), and in that, if the codes are different, the computer (3) prevents the injection or ignition. <IMAGE> |
