PURPOSE:To eliminate an influence on a reproduction picture even though a passing occurs at the memory writing and reading speed when the recording information reading speed is changed by controlling the position of a vertical synchronizing signal at the time of the continuous reproduction of the same field. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a passing, a passing control circuit 50 inhibits writing of one field of data or reads the same field data continuously according to the difference of the speed of writing and reading data. Accordingly, when a passing occurs, the same field picture is read out continuously from a memory. A scanning position control circuit 100 discriminates the field of the signal read out from field memories 11 and 12, and when the same field picture is continuously read out from the memory, a synchronizing signal is controlled to be inserted so as to perform a continuous scanning on the scanning position corresponding to the field. |
