PURPOSE:To obtain the infrared ray data communication equipment which is made small, the communication direction by an infrared ray is easily set and the processing is made simple. CONSTITUTION:An infrared ray data communication equipment is an equipment provided individually in parallel with a data processor 2 and sending/receiving data between the data processors by using an infrared ray as a communication medium, and a head part 8 is fitted to a main body section 4 turnably at its neck part 6. The main body section 4 is provided with a control means main body control section 10 receiving the data to be sent the main body and outputting the received data to the data processor. Furthermore, the head part is provided with a light emitting section 24 sending the infrared ray representing data to be sent, a light receiving section 26 receiving an infrared ray L representing the data to be received, a light emitting section 28 driving the light emitting section and a alight receiving circuit 30 extracting the data from the light receiving signal of the light receiving section. Furthermore, a light transmission window 42 is formed to the front face of the head part, and the light emitting section is arranged in the middle of the light transmission window and the light receiving section is arranged at both side of the light emitting section. |
