The edge of the dish-shaped valve plug (5) in the closing position with parallel alignment with the seat (9) has in the opening direction such a small distance (a) from the inside of the housing (1) that during simultaneous contact of the ball dome with the seat on one side and of the ball dish edge with the housing (1) on the other side,it abuts the annular seat against the force of an abutting spring. Thus with inclined alignment of the edge w.r.t. the seat, the latter remains in the area of the dome.The spring is pref.oh the coil type, which does not block when the ball dish edge adjoins the housing. The inside of the ball dish widens out from the centring seat (6) for the spring. ADVANTAGE - Compact design avoiding damage to the spring during operation,and reduced component weight.
