[Class 141] [Also in Group XVII] A sleeping-bag is composed of pentagonal front and back portions, the front part being provided with a slit 9 extending from the apex 5 of the top edge to a point 10 from <2>/3rds to <4>/5 ths of the distance towards the foot part, the slit being closable for part of its length by a sliding-clasp fastener or by means of buttons &c. Buttons and buttonholes 11 to 13, provided at the top of the bag at either side of the slit 9 and on the front and back portions respectively, enable the top part of the bag to be transformed into various forms of hood or collar. The bag may serve as a covering garment for use in a sitting position.
