This device is installed between the mixer outlet (11) and the entry to the supply flex (10). This device is intended to prevent blocking of the shower head and its flex which is due to the scale encrustation when a so-called hard water is used. It is also intended to effect a body protection (chiefly of the skin and hair) against damage by limestone. The device, of elongate single-block form, includes male (3) and female (2) connecting components for its insertion, an outer casing and an internal magnetic cell made up of permanent magnets.
