摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a dye thermal transfer image receiving sheet capable of receiving a printing image free from density irregularity and having excellent image quality and generating no curl by heat at the time of printing. CONSTITUTION:A dye thermal transfer image receiving sheet is obtained by forming an image receiving layer on the surface polyolefin resin layer formed on a sheet like base material prescribed so that the basis wt. of base paper based on cellulose and the wt. of the polyolefin resin layers formed on both surfaces of the base paper satisfy formulae 50>=A>=30 (1), B>=0.65A (2) and 0.65>=(A+B)IC >= 0.5 (3) [wherein A is the wt. (g/m<2>) of the surface resin layer (on which the image receiving layer is formed), B is the wt. (g/m<2>) of the rear resin layer (on the side opposite to the side forming the image receiving layer) and C is the basis wt. (g/m<2>) of base paper].
