PURPOSE:To provide a foaming agent composition for thermoplastic resin, containing a bistetrazole, a specific polyester copolymer and an antioxidant at specific ratios and having excellent heat-resistance, rigidity, strength, heat- insulation properties and sound-absorption characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The objective foaming agent to be compounded to a thermoplastic resin comprises (A) 3-50wt.% of 5,5'-bis-1H-tetrazole, (B) 40-97wt.% of a polyester copolymer such as polyether polyester copolymer having a melting point of 150-220 deg.C and (C) 0-10wt.% of an antioxidant such as pentaerythritol tetrakis [3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate]. |
