The keys are arranged in parallel rows on a board (1) of rectangular shape 100 mm long and 70 mm wide. Digits 1 to 5 are in the top row (8) and digits 6 to 9 in the middle row (9) of ''home keys'' (3) for the four fingers of the operator's right hand. The zero in the third row is the ''home key'' (4) for the thumb. The index finger is well placed to operate the first two keys (2) in the top row. USE/ADVANTAGE - On a cash register, pocket calculator or telephone set, an operator can manipulate the keyboard easily with a single hand, moving the fingers only.
