Two multi-pole magnetic wheels at least are arranged on each shaft. The magnetic wheels of one shaft are arranged to rotate relatively against each other. Flux conducting elements of ferromagnetic material are fitted between each pair of the driving and driven magnetic wheels, running at a distance from each other. The magnetic flux conducting elements conduct the magnetic flux at right angles to the shaft, from one magnetic field to the other. They have a gear tooth construction which corresponds to the distribution of the like poles of the associated magnetic wheels. ADVANTAGE - Facilitates transmission of high torque and is produced at relatively low engineering cost.
