Roll stabilisation for vehicle suspension - has non-return valves in both lines to suspension dampers

The suspension is fitted on each side of the axle with anti-roll dampers with control valves to regulate the flow to and from each side of the damping pistons. Non-return valves (30) feed each side of a damper and close for return flow. This stabilises the rolling movement, especially when cornering on uneven road surfaces. The non- return valves are interlinked to enable the higher pressure side of the damper to hold open the non-return valve of the lower pressure side. ADVANTAGE - Reduced roll, simple addition to damping circuit.
