A LAN works according to the DECT standard and contains a number of nodes from, to and between which data traffic is set up by means of a variable set of time slots for the respective radio channels for the respective nodes involved. The probability of only one node being connected to time slot t+1, i.e., so that collision with other nodes is avoided, is determined in the present instance by, first, estimating the number of nodes which have something to send during time slot t and the total number of nodes involved and, second, randomly creating a subset of said nodes which shall be permitted to send during time slot t+1. <IMAGE> |
