Animal bait comprises (a) one or more solid polymers of animal of plant origin (or one or more synthetic equivalents or derivs. of these) as carrier; (b) an attractant which is specific for the animal which is to be baited; and (c) one or more pharmaceutical active agents which are in the carrier and which are as solid or liq. form. USE/ADVANTAGE - The baits can be used, e.g., to treat animals which live wild (e.g. foxes) with pharmaceutical agents, e.g. rabies vaccines. The bait is mechanically and thermally stable. |
