The radio-signal responsive apparatus comprises a receiving unit (9) for receiving a radio signal emitted based upon a communication signal from a telephone set as an originator and for generating a signal to be detected in response to the radio signal. A housing is provided in the vehicle to accommodate the receiving unit and sensors (D) detect the signal generated by the receiving unit to produce a detected signal. A controller (S) is responsive to the detected signal from the sensor to produce a control signal based at least upon the detected signals. Circuitry (F) controls at least one piece of predetermined mobile equipment in response to the signal from the controller.
