Circumferentially distributed cylindrical matrices (2) are placed vertically on a rotating platform (6). Each matrix (2) is withdrawn by a first transfer member (28) which arranges for it to be engaged by a first tilting member (34) which, with a rotation of 180 DEG , transfers the matrix (2) onto a coiling station (8). At the same time, the tilting member (34) deposits onto the first transfer member (28) a further matrix (2) previously coiled, which is repositioned on the platform (6). The coiled matrix (2), after angular rotation of the platform (6), is withdrawn by a second transfer member (42) which arranges for it to be carried onto a winding station (9) by means of a second tilting member (43). At the same time, the second tilting member (43) transfers a further matrix (2) already wound onto the second transfer member (42) which shall carry it to the platform (6), to allow it to be finally removed. <IMAGE> |
