PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary driving device for an image forming device that can reduce image pitch unevenness with little influence of a gap tilt by using standard gears which can be obtained at low prices and to reduce the pitch unevenness without adopting any special backlash removing means. SOLUTION: The rotary driving device for the image forming device is equipped with one branch source gear g00, branch destination gears g11, g21, g31, g41, and g51 which are fixed to respective input shafts so as to transmit the rotary driving force from the branch source gear g00 to a plurality of elements including an image carrier, and a driving source gear gm; and the torque applied to the branch destination gears g11 to g51. The driving source gear gm and their arrangement are so adjusted that the resultant of forces F0 to F5 of the branch destination gears (g11 to g51) and the driving source gear gm operating on the branch source gear g00 are substantially zero. |
