<p>A position tracking system is provided to interact with a console without the deviation from a right position using a virtual touch screen. At least one magnetic field generating element(31) or more generate the magnetic field in a plurality of frequencies. A medical instrument has a first magnetic position sensor. The first magnetic position sensor transmits a first signal in response to a magnetic field. An interface device has a second magnetic position sensor. The second magnetic position sensor transmits a second signal in response to the magnetic field. A position processor(36) determines the position of the interface device and the medical instrument in response to the first signal and the second signal. A display device(44) displays the image in response to the position of the medical instrument. The display device has a cursor. The cursor moves under the control of the position processor in response to the position change of the interface device.</p> |
