A locating structure for a slide assembly comprises a first track 1, a second track 2, a releasing member 3, an operation button 4 and a locating member 5. A locating tab 11 is provided at a front end of the first track 1. The second track 2 is inserted and slidably mounted onto the first track 1. The second track is provided with a locating portion 21, and a releasing member 3 which is mounted to an inner side of the track 2. One end of the releasing member is provided with an operation button 4. The locating member is positioned on one side of the operating button 4 and has a lowered portion 51 and a raised portion 52. The locating member 5 provides resilience for the lowered portion 51 to hold against the locating portion 21 of the second track. The locating member 5 drives the lowered portion 51 to disengage from the locating portion 21 by means of the raised portion 52. |
