<p>The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement for operating a high-pressure discharge lamp (12) having an electronic ballast device, which is configured to provide an AC feed signal for the high-pressure discharge lamp (12), and which comprises a serial sequence of at least one first (Sa1), one second (Sa2), and one third signal section (Sa3) in the time domain as a modulation period (T), the sections being associated with a first, a second, and a third color, wherein the AC feed signal is an amplitude-modulated HF signal (IHF) having a frequency (f) of at least 500 kHz, wherein the following applies to the envelopes (E) of the signal portions with positive and/or negative amplitude: the amount of the envelopes (E) has a mean amplitude; the first signal section (Sa1) and/or the second signal section (Sa2) and/or the third signal section (Sa3) has/have at least one time domain, in which the amount of the envelopes (E) is greater by between 5% and 100% than the mean amplitude and/or the amount of the envelopes (E) is smaller by between 5% and 90% than the mean amplitude. The invention further relates to a projection device having a corresponding circuit arrangement, and to a corresponding method for operating a high-pressure discharge lamp.</p> |
