A control method of home appliances is provided to improve the reliability of a turbidity sensor by minimizing the contamination of the turbidity sensor through the calibration. A control method of home appliances is as follows. The laundry and detergent are injected(302). It is operated in regular sequence that the washing, rinsing, and dehydrating(304,306,308). The calibration of a turbidity sensor is performed during the prior operation of the home appliance(310). A calibration value is stored(312). The next step is performed using the calibrated turbidity sensor(314).
