The light (1) has at least one housing part and a transparent cover (4) connected to it in an airtight manner with a screw-on ring (3) with a flame quenching gap formed between the housing part and the cover. The flame quenching gap is formed directly between a surface, especially an external surface of the cover and a surface, especially the inner surface of the housing part. The screw-on ruing covers the gap on its end facing the outside (8) of the light. |
