A socket for fixing a backlight lamp is provided to prevent the separation of the backlight lamp by forming a lamp separation preventing unit in one of a pair of contact terminals. A socket for fixing a backlight lamp includes a guide frame(10), a conductive terminal(20), and a housing(30). The guide frame has a receiving space(15) and a wall part(11). The wall part partitions the receiving space. The terminal has a first part(21) and a pair of contact units. A first part is received in the receiving space of the guide frame. The pair of contact units are received in the space defined by the first sidewall, the second sidewall, and a connection wall. The pair of contact units support the end part of the backlight lamp. The contact terminal is formed in the end of each contact unit. A lamp separation preventing unit is formed in one of the pair of contact units. |
